Badie and an account with Bank of America. The bank sent monthly paper mail statements to its account holders. One month in the mailing it included a notice that it was updating its contact with the account holders.
The addition: an alternative dispute resolution clause to its agreements with its deposit account and credit card account customers.
This is a substantial change that takes away the right to go to court ans replaces it with the requirement to go to alternative dispute resolution (= arbitration or mediation).
